The endowment fund was established to support the acquisition and release of music recordings on physical and digital media, to support the organization of concerts and exhibitions of modern art, and to create, manage, and expand a collection of modern art and lend it to exhibitions.
The endowment fund was established on the initiative of Milan Knížák, who lent the fund its name and was its first donor, contributing a series of five gold and 25 black destroyed vinyl records.
The endowment fund was established in October 2025. The founder of the endowment fund is Petr Studený. The members of the board of trustees are Pavel Horčička, Michal Musil, and Petr Studený. The auditor of the endowment fund is Miroslav Beinhauer.
